My Kilmarnock based practice I work one-to-one with adults and young people aged 12 years and over. I also offer telephone counselling to adults.
Counselling sessions Counselling sessions last for up to 1 hour in total I offer both short and long term counselling.
Arriving For A Face-to-Face Session I ask that you arrive promptly for each session but no more than 5 minutes before the time the session is due to start. Conversely, should you arrive late to a session, it will end at the time it was due to end with full session fee payable. Endings (Termination): Attending counselling is voluntary; therefore you can end at any time. In the normal course of events you will probably know when you are ready to finish counselling. I ask that you give at least one week’s notice before finishing so that we have the chance to discuss your decision, however this is not obligatory nor always necessary. There will never be any pressure on you to continue with counselling.

Cancellations If you are unable to attend a counselling session I ask that you notify me at least 24 hours in advance. If you have not given me 24 hours notice, full session fees for the missed session is payable. If I am unable to make a session I will give you as much notice as possible.
